Medical Plan Options

We offer a range of medical plans so you can choose the right coverage for you and your family. Looking for HSA and FSA Information? Click here.

Paying for Medical Claims:

  • Your doctor will submit your claim to UMR.
  • You’ll then receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from UMR that shows the discounted charges and what you will be responsible to pay.
  • UMR then provides this information to your doctor and you will be billed.
  • You may choose to use HSA or FSA dollars to pay the bill or pay out-of-pocket.

Paying for Prescription Drug Claims

  • At the point of sale, you will pay the CVS Caremark negotiated price of the drug, which will apply towards your annual deductible
  • Once you’ve reached your deductible, you will pay a smaller portion of the cost (coinsurance percentage), which will continue until you reach your out-of-pocket maximum.
  • Costs of prescription drugs are eligible expenses to be paid with either an HSA or FSA, if you choose to enroll in either of these benefits.
