☐ Get Ready For Flu Season
August is Immunization Awareness Month! Flu season sneaks up faster than a Monday morning! Flu shots are covered at 100% as preventive care.
- Get your flu shot FREE at your doctor’s office or in-network pharmacies like CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, and Publix. No appointment needed at most locations.
- Ask about recommended immunizations during annual preventive care exams for kids AND adults. One visit, everything checked off the list.
☐ Schedule Annual Checkups
Preventive care is 100% covered for medical plan enrollees. Back-to-school physicals, dental cleanings, and vision exams are all covered under your medical, dental, and vision plans. Book now before fall calendars fill up!
☐ Check your FSA balance
School supplies aren’t eligible, but eyeglasses, contacts, and copays are! FSA accounts do not roll over from year-to year. Check out FSAStore.com and make sure you’re on track to use your funds before they expire.
☐ Get Assistance SupportLinc EAP
Get assistance with Mental Health and Dependent Care. Kids face school stress, adults juggle deadlines, family needs, and more. SupportLinc is here to help, offering 5 free sessions per issue per year. Resources are available to anyone living in your household.

☐ Refresh Your Financial Wellness Plan
Fall is a great time for a financial checkup. Even a 1% contribution increase to your 401k can make a big difference over time. Begin by visiting our 401(k) FAQ.
Already have a 401(k)? Make sure you’ve named a beneficiary — it takes 3 easy steps:
- Visit the Transamerica website and log in to your account.
- Scroll down and click “View Details” next to your 401(k) plan.
- Hover over the “My Plan” drop down and select “Beneficiaries”.
☐ Meet your Premium Discount Goals this School Year
Take Notes: If you are enrolled in the RaceTrac Medical plan, earn a discount on medical premiums in 2027! Make sure you are on track to meet the 300-point requirement (150 for individuals hired after 4/1) to earn a discount on medical premiums in 2027.
